Fatal Attraction (1987) Review
A lawyer, Dan, has a one night stand with Alex, one of his colleagues whom he has recently met. Alex becomes obsessed with Dan and is not ready for him to leave her. She tries anything she can to destroy Dan's family life and have him for herself.
It's the movie that inspired the 90s trend of psychological thrillers like Basic Instinct, Fear, The Last Seduction and The Crush. This movie plays with the deep dark secrets of the human mind, exploring sexual jealousy and it's role in triggering psychopathic tendencies. Phenomenal acting from Glenn Close, which keeps us hooked. Michael Douglas does a great job too.
The climax is thrilling and action packed. A very memorable film and it's contribution to the psychological thriller genre is undeniable.
