The Tomorrow War – I enjoyed the hell out of it. Was looking for a bombastic Sci Fi Action flick and got one. Story is dumb and full of unexplained scenarios one after another. Took some inspiration from Doug Liman’s Edge of Tomorrow. The aliens looked clone of many sci fi creatures mashed together.

Chris Pratt has done much comedy that even the during the intense moments it seemed like he’s gonna shoot some quirky one liner. Rest of cast did good it could’ve been better specially when you got J.K Simmons got on board. Director Chris McKay did a great job with handling action scenes with aplomb so good that he didn’t care about the story at all.

Review:

JUST FINISHED WATCHING IT! Loved it! Feels like the rebirth of the slasher genre. And so much nostalgia for the R.L. Stine Fear Street novels which I grew up with alongside the Goosebumps line of books.

3.5 out of 4 stars from me.

SPLINTER (2008) DOWNLOAD FOR FREE

A couple is taken hostage by crooks who wants to leave town. They arrive at a gas station and encounter a strange parasite that feeds on the still living human body and grows until it gets a new victim. Now, the people trapped inside the station must stay alive till help arrives.

We get a different type of creature horror and the whole plot is very engaging. The characters are likable and the film spends a considerable amount of time in developing the characters. the acting is fantastic and believable. It has great thrill and suspense that doesn't fail to entertain. Though sometimes the gore is too much to take. A jumpy horror movie that is very enjoyable. A must watch.
